I visited the LDS temple while in Godstone. It was raining that day but nevertheless was a must see. The gardens are beautiful. The building is really striking and you can walk around it and have picnics on the grounds. The visitor centre was really interesting and the people friendly. Great day if you just want some peace, or equally for a wholesome day with the family. I’ll definitely be going back.

So wonderful place! So peaceful and beautiful! I loved walking around the park and just sit and meditate. The accommodation was very good. It's like a spiritual retreat to be here.

Absolutely by pure luck we have come across this amazing temple when we were traveling to visit some other local attractions nearby. The London England Temple (formerly the London Temple) is the 12th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The London England Temple was the second temple built in Europe, following the Bern Switzerland Temple (1955) and the first built in the United Kingdom. The Magna Carta was signed in 1215 in the same county of Surrey where the London England Temple is located. Located in Lingfield , just a few miles east of the London Gatwick Airport, near a very busy road and constant planes flying above, nonetheless you won't miss it as it is very easily to spot on. Lots of benches around to sit and enjoy this beautifully done place with a picturesque pond with ducks and paradise-like formal grounds. The temple grounds are one of the largest in the world, and you can easily spend a whole day here. The car park is available and decent size, but make sure of the time when they are closing the gates. We have visited the place on Sunday. Unfortunately the temple at that time was shut. So, definitely will be back again.
